Theatrical Work

 

    The Ogunquit Playhouse has been Cheryl's home base for several years now as a Charge Scenic Artist.  She has recently started freelancing on the Seacoast and in Portland for theaters such as The Good Theater of South Portland, ME and Stageforce in Portsmouth, NH. 

    All this would not have been possible however if her mentor, Robbin Watts of Orlando, FL hadn't given her a chance at an internship several years ago at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater.   She went into her interview with Robbin with what little she had of a portfolio of studio work and Robbin saw that Cheryl had potential and agreed to take her under her wing.   They were glued at the hip for several months.  This was the start of Cheryl's eye opening and life changing realization that she had found her calling. Robbin Watts has been a Scenic Artist for 20+ years.  She is also a Set Designer, Properties Artisan, and Sculptor. She lives in the Greater Orlando Area.  https://sites.google.com/site/ruedesigns4u/
